Dear Readers,

   First of all, I would like to explain why I start to write recommendation articles in English.

You can find plenty of articles about amazing Taiwanese restaurants and interesting places in Chinese by Taiwanese bloggers,

but how about  the people who can't read Chinese but crazily desire to know where local Taiwanese go and what magic food they eat?

   Me, as a truly local Taiwanese, would like to share with you my world-Taiwan. I can show you some secret and beautiful places that travel books don't show you.

Also some small food stands but sell incredible Taiwanese food that only local know. Follow me, and you will explore Taiwan deeper and have fun!

   Since English is not my mother tongue, if any mistake happens, pls forgive me. :)   Do enjoy!

  First time, my friend Yi Ting took me here, she said this restaurant is awesome.

I just doubt it, coz I don't think it will make me "wow"! Thai food is much the same to me, sour, spicy, sea food ets...

But, this restaurant did WOW me.

The enviroment of the restaurant is cozy, clean and hanged with some thai paintings and decorection.

You will feel like being in southern Asia and having a vacation.

Of course all of cuisines are tasty, I'll show you how!!

I have to warn you, good food comes with price, it is more expensive than other restaurant, avarage cost $700NTD/per person.

  Thai Made has 2 branches, one is located near Daan MRT Station, second one is near Taipei city hall MRT station, both in Xinyi Dict.

I've been to both, both are same quality, both are amazing, but I like to go Thai Made which is near Taipei city hall MRT station.

Because after meal, you can go either Songsang Culture and Creative parrk, the place fulled of Taiwanese creative stuff and souvenir

or go to Xinyi shopping zone where has plenty malls to spend your money if you are too rich!

Tip: Make a reservation before you go there! Aways full.

  Luckily, the manu has English~~So I don't have to translate and you don't bother to read Chinese!!

My must-eat list: those I tried and I really have to recommend you!!

1.  泰國月亮蝦餅Deep Fried Shrimp Cake with plum sause: I don't lie you, every table orders this one! Personally super love this! 

     Crispy outside, look at the thick stuffing!! It is made by juicy shrimp. You must eat it just right away it is served although it is hot,

     But it's less tasty when being cold.

2.泰國傳統椰子蒸什錦海鮮Seadfood red curry cream soup in a whole of cococnut: The rice is free of charge, you better ask a big bowl of rice!

3. 泰北傳統咖哩南瓜牛肉Northern Thailand traditional Curry pumpkim beef: One of my favorite! the pumpkim is etable and the beef is so so so good in mouth! must try!

4. 泰國青木瓜涼拌Thai Green papaya salad: It's spicy, but you can tell waiter to make it less spicy!

5.泰國傳統打拋豬肉Stir fried traditional Thai holly basil with minced pork or chicken: I like go with pork, it is spicy, too and better get one more round of rice!

All of my friends are satified with my recommendation! YA, we are full and happy!
